Dave and Pam Alford are both very experienced having bowled for 25 years and represented their County.

Dave is also a qualified Club Coach, which he finds useful in the business when advising new bowlers on their requirements, particularly which size and type of bowl to purchase.

Bowlamania was established in 1998 in a shop at Chippenham and we moved to Melksham nearly three years ago to a much larger unit where we are selling all the equipment the bowler could ever need, also offering our customers advice and guidance through our many years experience in the bowling world. We have built up a very good reputation in the area and we are quite disappointed if we are unable to satisfy the customers needs.

After 10 years the business is flourishing and we believe this is down to the personal service and good advice our customers enjoy, which leads to many recommendations. We are determined that as the business continues to grow that it will not lose its “personal touch” that has given the business such a firm footing.

We maintain that we will never stock any products that we would not be happy to use ourselves; “We are not willing to compromise our integrity by going down the rocky road of selling cheap, inferior products, just to say that we are the ”cheapest prices in the World”. "We are proud to say that our customers trust our advice and judgement, and many come to think of us as friends.....why would we want to do anything that could jeopardise that".
