Drakes Pride shortmat bowls jack exchange - old for new
We will exchange your existing short mat jack for a new one for less than half the price of a new one.
One Drakes Pride standard extra heavyweight shortmat jack in yellow, in exchange for you sending us an old, chipped extra heavy shortmat jack, minimum weight 800 grams.
These jacks are not only made to comply with the rules of the game, but to a more exacting specification. 66mm in diameter, with a weight of 903 grams. The ESMBA spec is for 63 - 67mm diameter, 397 - 907 grams.
These are coated alloy jacks and as such, due to the nature of the game, they are prone to chipping. Once a jack has become badly chipped it will have a detrimental impact on the game, making the jack go off at odd angles. The cure is to send us your old jack or jacks and we'll exchange them for new ones. For one jack we recommend you use second class post. For two to four, we recommend first class. For more than that (if several clubs get together to send a big parcel), pack them securely and tightly in a box with bubble wrap and we can arrange carriage from you to us for £10 extra. Our maximum p&p charge is £10, so it does make sense to order as many as you can in one go.
These jacks are only suitable for shortmat bowls.
